Superdrug Own Brand- Mud Therapy

Hello my little Cherries

So if you dont know already there is a Superdrug that stands between my house and the bus stop. Therefore every time I innocently go to catch the bus (which is every single day), I spend 20 minutes and £30 in there. When I first moved to my house, my savings plummeted worse than those on Wall Street. Eventually though I learnt to control myself and now only allow myself to buy 1-3 items. That's all I need to get my daily fix. Anyway, what a perfect opportunity to share with you all the things I buy in small doses (as I noticed my blogs seemed to be getting bigger and bigger).

Today I went into Superdrug to look for a face mask. After a rather heavy night on Bank Holiday Monday, my face looked a bit like the arse of elephant. It desperately needed some TLC but a daily face wash just wasn't going to cut it. Normally when I think of a face mask I think of some horrible, cheap, strawberry flavored, gooey, sachet; not the type of thing I wanted. I must admit there wasn't a lot of choice (I would of been better off going to Boots and picking up an Origins mask). They had your usual cheap gooey packet or 2-in-1 spot face wash and mask. Neither of which I was willing to put onto my suffering skin. Then tucked away at the very bottom I saw the Superdrugs own brand mud mask. I'll admit I was a complete Mud Mask virgin and I have no clue what makes a good mud mask and what makes, well, a packet of mud.

This however, even said from a mud virgin, is so lovely. These two where on offer for 2 for £5 (even though they are only £2.59 full price) and are so beautiful, I can't believe they are own brand. You apply a generous layer of, umm, mud all over your face and just let it dry for 10-15 minutes. I leave mine on for 15 just to get the full benefit but if your in a rush, as soon as it's dried its ready. Try not to giggle too much at how little you can move your face (its like someone has hit Pause on your facial muscles) as any movements which are possible will make it crack. The rinse off with warm water and pat dry. At first my skin looked exactly the same but after about 3 hours I looked so healthy! My skin looked brighter and clearer. Dark circles had gone, so had spot redness and my pores where visibly smaller. I have only used this product twice in one week but I will continue to use twice a week as sometimes products don't really kick in for around 4-6 weeks. if its this good already, I can't wait to until October.
